Vintage Günthart “Dimitri” German Marionette Puppet with Original Box

A charming vintage German marionette puppet named “Dimitri”, complete with its original Günthart presentation box. Handcrafted with a carved and hand-painted wooden head and hands, this expressive character wears a colourful felt costume with tartan trousers, oversized yellow bow tie, black jacket and distinctive white hair.

Originally produced by Günthart Confiserie as a premium gift presentation, Dimitri was supplied in an attractive striped display box, making complete examples increasingly difficult to find. The puppet remains complete with its original wooden control bar and strings and can be displayed either suspended or alongside its original packaging.
