Large Bull Shark Jaw – Carcharhinus leucas – 38cm
Free UK shipping on orders over £50
A striking Bull Shark jaw, measuring approximately 38cm across and retaining numerous original teeth and multiple rows of replacement teeth.
The distinctive triangular, finely serrated dentition and overall form are consistent with Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas).
The jaw is complete in terms of its original sections, although it has naturally broken into three separate pieces. The sections do not currently reunite. There are some missing and imperfect teeth, as expected with a genuine natural-history specimen, and these can be clearly seen in the photographs.
At approximately 38cm across, this is a substantial and visually impressive shark jaw, making an excellent display piece for a cabinet of curiosities, natural-history collection or unusual interior display.
A fantastic example of shark anatomy with the rows of serrated teeth particularly well displayed.
Measurements: Approx. 38cm across
Condition: Three separate sections; some teeth missing or imperfect. Please examine photographs carefully.
Identification: Probable Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas), based on dentition and jaw morphology.
