Partial Roe Deer Skull with Closely Set Antlers - Capreolus capreolus

A striking partial roe deer skull, retaining the upper section of the cranium and both natural antlers.

The antlers are particularly interesting, being closely set together and displaying the characteristic compact, branching form of the roe deer. Although much of the facial portion of the skull is absent, the remaining section retains excellent character and makes an unusual and highly decorative natural-history specimen.

A wonderful addition to a cabinet of curiosities, natural history collection or gothic display.

Species: Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus)
Condition: Partial skull, with the majority of the facial section missing. Natural ageing and surface wear.
